APBren M5 Champion Skin

As champions of the M5 World Championship, AP Bren etched their victory in Mobile Legends history by selecting a hero for a special M5 Champion skin in collaboration with Moonton Games. This privilege, reserved for tournament victors, allows teams to immortalize their triumph through a unique skin for one of the game's characters.

Previous titleholders have had similar opportunities, with each champion team making their mark on the game's visual landscape. EVOS Legends, winners of the inaugural M1 Championship, chose Harith, followed by Bren Esports and Blacklist International who opted for Lancelot and Estes after their M2 and M3 victories. Most recently, ECHO selected Chou as their hero of choice following their M4 win, continuing the tradition of champion teams customizing game elements with their celebratory skins.

Champion Commemorations: Brody and Paquito Skins

In the competitive arena of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), a notable achievement has been marked. A significant selection was made by Esports team AP Bren, opting for the Brody character to be embellished with the coveted M5 Champion skin. Brody's pivotal role in the team’s triumph during the M5 tournament was instrumental, as articulated by team director Jab Escutin.

Brody's new skin symbolizes the team’s high regard for the character's impact in their victories, providing fans an opportunity to engage with a piece of AP Bren’s storied legacy.

Concurrently, David “FlapTzy” Canon is set to make history by collaborating in the custom design for the very first FMVP (Finals Most Valuable Player) skin. The chosen hero for this unique honor is Paquito, whose playstyle is inspired by the ferocity and strategy of the famed boxer Manny Pacquiao.

Canon takes pride in being the initial recipient of this special accolade, acknowledging the skin's reflection of his distinctive tactics in the game.

The M5 Champion and FMVP skins are undergoing final touches by MOONTON Games alongside AP Bren, with anticipation for their release in September 2024.

AP Bren’s Path to Triumph in the M5 World Championship

Despite a formidable lineup of competitors, AP Bren reigned supreme in the MPL Philippines Season 12, showcasing their strategic prowess and securing the championship. Their journey was marked by impressive tactical plays, which positioned them in second place during the regular season. The playoffs saw their strategies come to full fruition as they dominated their adversaries, climaxing in a decisive 4-1 victory over Blacklist International, which not only earned them their second MPL Philippines title but also paved their way to the M5 World Championship.

At the M5 World Championship, AP Bren demonstrated their exceptional skills, effortlessly topping Group C with a perfect record. However, in the Knockout Stage, their stride briefly faltered with a 3-0 defeat to ONIC Esports. Yet, they quickly bounced back, eliminating Blacklist International with another 3-0 sweep in what was a repeat of the MPL Philippines Season 12 final. This victory led to a nail-biting title match against ONIC Esports.

The grand finale was an exhibition of championship-caliber gameplay from both factions. Still, AP Bren's superior macro-management ultimately clinched their victory in seven intense games, affirming the Philippines‘ domination of the M-Series for the fourth consecutive year. The organization's triumph etched their name into the annals of history for the second time since their first win at the M2 World Championship in January 2021.
