How to Create or Join a Faction

In the dynamic world of Marvel Rivals, players have the opportunity to enhance their gaming experience through the faction system. This feature allows individuals to either create their own group or join existing ones, offering a platform for teamwork and strategy. By participating in factions, players can engage in exciting tournaments and strive to dominate the multiverse in collaboration with friends.

The allure of factions lies not only in competition but also in the sense of community they foster within the game. Whether leading a newly formed faction or joining forces with an established team, players can access a wealth of opportunities and rewards. This system is designed to cater to both newcomers and seasoned gamers, ensuring that each player can find a faction that suits their playstyle and aspirations.

What Defines a Group in Marvel Rivals?

In Marvel Rivals, a Faction represents a team of up to 12 players. This team, akin to a guild or clan, allows players to compete collectively in in-game tournaments. These competitions offer the opportunity to earn both cosmetic rewards and real-world money.

A leader within the Faction has the authority to customize the team with a unique emblem to ensure it stands out among other groups. They also manage membership by determining regions from which players can join, whether joining is by application or invitation only, and establishing a minimum rank for membership. This structure helps maintain the competitiveness and exclusivity of the team.

How to Form a Faction

Creating a Faction in Marvel Rivals is straightforward. Begin by launching the game and navigating to the Tournament tab at the top of the screen. From there, select the Create Faction option. You'll need to enter a name and an abbreviation, which gives your group its unique identity.

Players have the option to set preferences such as the Primary Language, minimum Rank Requirement, and Admission Rules. Additional preferences include the geographical Region and Platform to ensure compatibility with potential members.

Compose an announcement of up to 200 characters to describe your Faction's goals or ethos. You can also select or randomly assign an emblem to represent the group visually. Finalize the setup by clicking the yellow Create Faction button to bring your faction to life.

How to Enter an Existing Group in Marvel Rivals

For players interested in becoming part of an existing group in Marvel Rivals, the process is straightforward and involves a few simple steps. Once inside the game, begin by navigating to the Tournament section, which can be found at the top of the screen.

Within the Tournament menu, select View Factions. At the top left, there's a Search bar where you can type the name of the group you wish to join. This is an essential step since there's currently no feature for direct invitations—you have to find the group manually.

After locating the desired group, press the button to initiate the joining process. There are two scenarios: if the group is Free to Join, you will become a member right away; if it is Apply to Join, your request will be pending and requires approval from the group leader. This method enables players to explore various communities and engage in collaborative gameplay within the Marvel Rivals universe.
