New Arcane Nemesis Challenges in League of Legends
Arcane Nemesis challenges bring a competitive edge to the League of Legends ARAM mode. Tied to the temporary Bridge of Progress battleground, these player skirmishes enhance the seasonal celebration of Arcane's second season. Champions duel in specific confrontations, each promising strategic twists and rewards for completing objectives.
Jinx vs Caitlyn
When Jinx clashes with Caitlyn, one dramatic encounter involves catching Caitlyn in Jinx's E – Flame Chompers! device, followed swiftly by her defeat. Achieving this task bestows the Piltover's Most Wanted advantage, causing defeated foes to release a bomb that explodes shortly afterward, dealing substantial damage as a team benefit.
In return, Caitlyn sets a trap for Jinx, employing her W – Yordle Snap Trap, then eliminating her. Successfully completing this strategy unveils the reward of An End to the Madness…? Here, each vanquished opponent leaves behind a trap to ensnare others, a team-wide boost in an exhilarating turn of events.
Ekko vs Jinx
As Ekko and Jinx face off, each team launches into the Echoes of Innocence challenge once a player attains level six. Ekko's role involves encouraging five teammates to activate emotes promptly. Success brings the Laughs for the Firelights perk, providing Ekko and his team enhanced Ability Haste for their ultimate abilities.
Echoes of Innocence also rewards Jinx and her allies similarly, fostering a team advantage in crucial ultimate ability cooldowns, reflecting a shared merriment on the battlefield.
Jayce vs Viktor
The rivalry between Jayce and Viktor evolves with players being on opposite teams. This unlocks once both reach level six. Jayce's quest demands he takes down Viktor five times, granting Hope for the Future. This reward adds an additional Melee W – Static Field effect around the ultimate abilities for Jayce and his squad.
Conversely, Viktor's goal is also to eliminate Jayce the same number of times, unlocking a parallel version of Hope for the Future. This equips Viktor's team with an extra lightning bolt effect impacting the nearest two opponents when using their ultimate abilities.
Singed vs Heimerdinger
With Singed and Heimerdinger opposing each other, players enter the For Science's Sake challenge at level four. Singed's success results in Unconstrained Chemistry, delivering a rotating elixir every three minutes for him and his team. This innovation maintains a continuous buff, refreshing as each cycle completes.
Heimerdinger's conquest in the Relentless Research task similarly bestows a reward titled after its challenge name. It creates a defensive shield for up to 15% of maximum health when around allied turrets or his H-28 G Evolution Turrets, shared with all teammates.
Warwick vs Vi
Details regarding the encounter between Warwick and Vi remain scarce aside from their enthralling bonuses. Warwick's triumph offers his team an alternate Denting Blows ability, enhancing physical damage and shredding defenses with every third hit or skill against a shared target.
If Vi overcomes Warwick, her team benefits from a modified Blood Hunt. This trait boosts speed toward low-health adversaries and amplifies damage based on missing health, signifying a learning from the enigmatic beast in their midst. These encounters, exclusive to ARAM, bring added depth and excitement to transient League content.
