Joe Higashi is set to join the roster of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as a downloadable character. His addition comes as part of the game’s first season pass, following the earlier releases of Ken and Andy Bogard. Joe Higashi makes his long-awaited return to the series after more than two decades. Known for his Muay Thai mastery, he remains a fighter whose devastating kicks stand out as his signature strength. His comeback in City of the Wolves highlights both his combat abilities and a new chapter in his personal pursuits.
Outside the ring, Joe has taken on a new role in the film industry. He stars in a documentary titled The Legend of Joe, directed by Cheng Sinzan, which is being filmed across South Town. He also plans to feature his student, Preecha, recognizing the young fighter’s recent tournament victories and growth under his guidance.

FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves at Tokyo Game Show 2025
Attendees at Tokyo Game Show 2025 can try out Joe Higashi as a playable fighter for the first time. The demo will be available at the Samsung SSD booth from September 25–28.
Players can test his moves in both Arcade Mode and the story-driven Episodes of South Town (EOST) Mode. A wider release follows in fall 2025, when Joe officially joins the complete roster.
