Popular Twitch creator Sommerset is joining Fortnite with her own Icon Series outfit, giving you a new way to represent one of the platform’s top streamers in-game. The skin arrives in the Item Shop on April 17, 2026, as part of the Triple Threat bundle.
You do not have to spend V-Bucks to unlock it. By competing in a limited-time event tied to the release, you can earn the Sommerset outfit for free before it officially rotates into the shop.
How To Get Sommerset Skin for Free in Fortnite
You can unlock the Sommerset outfit at no cost by competing in the Triple Threat Cup on April 15, 2026. Epic will run this event as a trios tournament inside the standard Battle Royale playlist.
To qualify for the free rewards, you must:
- Form a trio team
- Queue into the Triple Threat Cup during your region’s time window
- Earn enough points to place within the required ranking bracket
If you finish high enough on the leaderboard, you will receive the Sommerset skin along with additional cosmetic items tied to the event.
Open the Compete tab in Fortnite before the tournament begins. That tab lists scoring rules, match limits, start times, and regional details so you can prepare properly.
If you do not reach the required placement, you still have another option. Epic will release the Sommerset bundle in the Item Shop on April 17, 2026, at 8 PM ET, where you can purchase it directly.
