Fortnite has launched its crossover with Honkai: Star Rail, bringing Kafka and Blade to the Item Shop for a limited time. You can pick up both outfits now, but they will rotate out after March 5.
If you want the Blade skin without spending V-Bucks, you have another option. You can unlock the outfit through a special promotion tied to the collaboration, which lets you add Blade to your locker at no direct cost if you meet the requirements.
Unlock Blade at No Extra V-Bucks Cost
You can add the Blade Outfit to your Fortnite locker by making a qualifying purchase in Honkai: Star Rail through the Epic Games Store. Start by opening the Epic Games Launcher or visiting the Epic Games Store website. Download Honkai: Star Rail at no cost and sign in, or create an Epic account if you do not already have one.
After installing the game, complete one of the eligible purchases below:
- Oneiric Shards – starting at $14.99 USD
- The Nameless Glory (Battle Pass equivalent) – $9.99 USD
If you plan to spend the least amount possible, unlock access to The Nameless Glory by progressing through the game, then purchase it for the lower price. This option costs less than buying the Blade skin directly with V-Bucks in Fortnite.
Once Epic processes your transaction, launch Fortnite. A notification will confirm that the Blade Outfit has been added to your account.
Although this method requires spending money within Honkai: Star Rail, it reduces the total cost compared to purchasing the cosmetic outright in Fortnite’s Item Shop.
What Is the Cost Difference if You Choose This Method?
You cannot purchase the exact number of V-Bucks needed for the Blade Outfit. That forces you to buy a larger V-Bucks bundle than required if you go through the Item Shop.
By using the Nameless Glory option, you spend $10 USD to secure the outfit. Buying V-Bucks instead requires a $22.99 USD purchase of 2,800 V-Bucks to cover the price.
