Fortnite gets permanent Zero Build mode
Fortnite players were surprised when a new gamemode was added to the game in Chapter 3, Season 2 in which the build feature was temporarily turned off. But after the positive response, Epic Games has decided to make it a permanent game mode as well, which will be called Zero Build.
Fortnite CHapter 3 Season 2 has brought a lot of new content for players to enjoy, such as new Battle Pass skins to unlock and brand new challenges to complete. In addition to the whole host of new content, Epic Games also made the bold decision to remove the build feature from the Battle Royale.
The change fell so well with Fortnite players that Epic Games announced a permanent non-build mode called Zero Build. And given the many positive reactions, this is no surprise.
Many players return to Fortnite
This major change will definitely change the gameplay of Fortnite, but some players don't seem to mind at all. The drastic change has even resulted in renewed interest from casual players who had previously lost interest in the game.
The no build mode was supposed to be a temporary tweak, but on March 29, Epic Games confirmed that a permanent no build mode will be added to Fortnite. This mode is called Zero Build and is already available in the game.
So Epic Games has decided to keep the mode available longer than planned, and this is probably due to the positive response from many players. Several popular streamers and content creators have responded enthusiastically to Epic Games‘ Twitter announcement.
What does the new game mode look like
Epic Games describes Zero Build as „a test of players‘ weapon, item and movement skills.“ Fortnite players can find Zero Build mode on the Discover page. The game mode is playable in Solo, Duos, Trios and Squads.
