Fortnite Chapter 3 turns many things upside down

There was a lot of speculation beforehand, but now we have certainty: The third chapter of Fortnite is out and brings changes to the map, gameplay and even more.

The release of a new Fortnite chapter is the most exciting time in Epic Games‘ Battle Royale shooter for many players. In addition to a new Battle Pass, fresh gameplay elements, and fancy items, the island has usually always changed a bit as well and holds numerous undiscovered locations on the map. Fortnite „Flipped“: Battle Pass, map and gameplay in Chapter 3

Epic Games did not come up with the name „Flipped“ for Fortnite Chapter 3 without reason. In the course of the update, the map was simply turned upside down by 180 degrees. In addition, winter has arrived and large parts of the island are covered in snow. From now on, weather plays a bigger role in Fortnite and becomes dynamic. Sunshine can quickly be followed by thunder and lightning during a round. Fortnite veterans can also rejoice, because the popular place Shifty Shafts has returned to the map.

In terms of gameplay, Fortnite Chapter 3 introduces both the slide and swing mechanics. This allows players to move across the map much faster, and pros in particular will certainly have good opportunities to take their game to the next level. Epic Games has also implemented tents. You can set them up at a nice spot on the map, heal yourself there and even store weapons for the next round.
