‚Teca‘ ahead of ‚FabienneXIII‘: First woman in the FGS qualifier
Stephanie Luana da Silva Santos called „Teca“ is the first woman worldwide to qualify for a Global Series Qualifier in FIFA 22. To assert yourself as a woman in a male domain shows courage and assertiveness. But anyone who can also impress with good performances and even outshine their opponents in a row deserves respect.
In Brazil, a woman is currently showing how it can be done and is thus becoming a role model for female colleagues in the eSports industry as well as those who still dream of it.
Stephanie Luana da Silva Santos, better known by the moniker „Teca,“ joined the roster of Danish organization Astralis in October 2019. The FIFA player has already made a name for herself in the competitive soccer simulation scene. Her star first rose when she won the eFootball Female World Cup in 2020. Since then, positive results have strengthened her reputation. Now she has achieved the big breakthrough.
Teca makes FIFA history
At the end of February, the 25-year-old not only recorded her next personal success, but also made history along the way. Her performance in the third season of the Division Rivals mode made the Brazilian the first woman ever to qualify for a FIFA event. With a total of 2118 skill points, Teca is one of the top 256 players in her region. The reward is participation in the third online qualifier of the Global Series.
