Excel x Just Eat: will be the official food delivery partner

The British organization launches the collaboration with Just Eat with exclusive content and activations dedicated to fans and supporters.

Excel, one of the most renowned and emblazoned brands in the esports world, present in particular on League of Legends, Fifa, Fortnite and Valorant, have presented their partnership with Just Eat, one of the most used food delivery platforms not only in Europe but especially in the UK where Excel have their main physical location. The partnership marks Just Eat's first major step into the world of esports as a brand alongside an organization. Together they will collaborate on content, experiences and events both virtual and physical.

Focus on fans

Fans will have access to exclusive content that will include several never-before-seen insights into the Excel player roster. The partnership will also focus on creating „experiences that support good causes and help bring the gaming community together.“ Throughout the year, Just Eat and Excel will create innovative ways to connect with UK players at events across the country, as well as being there to support them with a takeaway game night. Just Eat is committed to providing gamers with content and experiences they might not otherwise be able to access.

Latest addition

Just Eat is just one of the latest partnerships Excel has unveiled over the course of recent times. Some time ago had come the renewal of the historic partnership with Jd Sports as an apparel partner. On the talent side, instead, the announcement of the engagement of Marc „Caedrel“ Lamont, one of the most appreciated casters of the League of Legends, as content creator to relaunch the portal Xl.gg, caused a sensation.

Why Just Eat

Just Eat UK marketing director Matt Bushby commented, „We are delighted to be working with XL to bring Just Eat into games in a more meaningful and impactful way over the next 12 months. We look forward to working with them on a variety of first in-game opportunities and providing millions of hungry gamers with experiences they can't find anywhere else.“ Of the same opinion, Excel Esports Chief Commercial Officer Mark Carter added, „We are thrilled to announce Just Eat as our official food delivery partner in what is Just Eat's most significant gaming partnership to date. Sharing a vision to consistently create authentic engagement for our respective communities, we look forward to working closely on exciting experiences and activations both virtually and at gaming events across the country.“
