Twitch once again becomes the venue for a great concert. Now, two of the biggest rap stars of the moment are taking part via Amazon Music.

Concerts are rather wishful thinking for us in Germany right now thanks to the current Corona situation. But fortunately there is a remedy in virtual form.

As part of a benefit concert for Larry Hoover, who is in prison for several years for gang-related crimes, the two artists Drake and Kanye West, who now appears everywhere only as „Ye,“ will meet in Los Angeles. The rappers have only recently ended their years-long beef.

The concert will be streamed LIVE from 5:00 on Friday morning (German time) on the Twitch channel of Amazon Music. Access is free and it is still unclear whether there will be a VoD of the performance.

During the pandemic, there have always been concerts on Twitch and many artists have thus tried to compensate for the cancelled concert and festival season. Nevertheless, the names Drake and Kanye West are definitely a special house number that will attract many fans to the stream.

And Drake in particular is no stranger to Twitch. When he gamed Fortnite together with streaming star Ninja, he broke many Twitch records that existed until 2018. Perhaps he can build on this success with the live concert.
