How to Find Lost Witchcraft Powers
Diablo 4's Season of Witchcraft introduces a captivating element known as Witchcraft Powers. These abilities offer fresh opportunities for gamers to enrich and personalize their character strategies. Utilizing a new seasonal currency, Restless Rot, players can learn and upgrade most of these powers.
However, Lost Witchcraft Powers remain a mystery and are considered rare treasures that require exploration to unlock. These special abilities are hidden at Forgotten Altars scattered throughout the Sanctuary, making their discovery an exciting challenge for dedicated adventurers.
All Hidden Witchcraft Abilities in Diablo 4
In the Season of Witchcraft, players can discover four special abilities. Breath of the Coven enhances your attack pace for ten seconds after dealing damage or controlling a crowd with any Witchcraft Effect, with stacking possible for each unique effect. Hex Specialization boosts the strength of hex-based skills, adding depth to their effects. Aura Specialization amplifies the range of aura effects, increasing their reach within battles. Piranhado emerges when both a Hex and an Aura are active on an enemy, attracting foes into its grasp and causing physical damage over 12 seconds, with a cooldown of 20 seconds.
Locating Hidden Altars
In the world of Diablo 4, players can uncover Forgotten Altars within various dungeon settings. These locations range from the challenging Nightmare Dungeons to the newly introduced Roothold Dungeons in the Season of Witchcraft. Additionally, players might find these altars in The Pit, a timed endgame dungeon, which presents opportunities to unlock different stages of Torment difficulty.
The appearance of Forgotten Altars is dependent on the level of Torment difficulty in which players are operating. Specifically, they have a 1% chance of appearing in Torment 1 dungeons, increasing to 2%, 3%, and 5% chances in Torment levels 2, 3, and 4, respectively. To aid in locating these elusive sites, players can use their in-game maps, as these altars are marked and may be more easily discovered.
