Choir of One in Destiny 2 guide

Acquiring the Choir of One catalyst in Destiny 2 is more complex than other weapon catalysts. To help players navigate this challenge, it’s essential to follow precise steps. This catalyst offers significant enhancements to the Choir of One auto rifle, making it a valuable addition to any player's arsenal.

Choir of One Catalyst Quest Walkthrough in Destiny 2

To begin unlocking the catalysts for the Choir of One auto rifle, the first step involves completing the Encore exotic quest. Once that is accomplished, head over to the Tower and interact with Banshee-44. He will provide you with the Choir: Eternal quest. Completing this quest is essential to obtain the first catalyst for the Choir of One.

For the Choir: Eternal quest, players need to tackle the Encore exotic mission again, this time set to Expert difficulty. Additionally, there is a requirement to open secret chests within the mission. However, these secret chests remain hidden until the Conductor’s Imprint Codes Research Instrument is unlocked from Failsafe. To do this, completing the NES007 Specimen quest is required. Part of Act 3 in the ‚A Rising Chorus‘ series, the NES007 quest involves five straightforward steps primarily focused on defeating Vex enemies.

After completing the NES007 Specimen quest, players need to speak with Failsafe in the H.E.L.M. Doing so will unlock the Imprint Codes upgrade, which then reveals hidden areas within the Encore exotic mission containing the secret chests.

In the Encore quest, proceed as usual until the first platforming section is cleared and the Vex Module puzzle area is reached. Before entering the puzzle area, turn left to find a small opening in the wall. This marks the location of the first secret area. Inside, a glowing Vex Conflux structure will be visible. Activating it will trigger the Ancillary Transit Nexus.

When the Ancillary Transit Nexus activates, four white cubes will spawn along with a smaller cube beneath one of them. The task here is to shoot the white cube with the smaller cube beneath it, causing the smaller cube to move to another white cube. Repeat this process for all four cubes to complete the first sync.

After the first sync is completed, the four white cubes will respawn around the room. Again, shoot the cubes in the order dictated by the appearance of the smaller cube until all four are targeted. This action completes the second sync, spawning the first secret chest. Loot this chest and then return to the main area to continue.

Next, proceed to the area with the Planetoid Assimilation Piston. Look for another glowing Vex Conflux in the middle of the room. Activating this Conflux reveals a portal to the right, which leads back to the starting area. Here, another Vex Conflux awaits. Interacting with it initiates a time-sensitive puzzle.

White lines will emerge from the Conflux, guiding players to nearby pillars adorned with plates. There are five plates in total. To spawn the second secret chest, shoot all five plates within the given time limit. It's crucial to note that some plates are well hidden, requiring a keen eye to locate.

The final secret chest is located at the Ishtar Research Facility towards the end of the mission. Upon entering the facility, another glowing Vex Conflux will appear. Activating it opens a nearby portal leading to the third hidden area.

In this hidden area, numerous Vex module access points are present, along with several pink nodes on the floor above, connected by white lines. The goal is to destroy all these pink nodes before they begin self-replicating. Players must use the Vex module access points to access portals that lead to the upper floor, enabling them to shoot the pink nodes. Following the white lines and using the correct portals are essential to reach the protected nodes.

Remember, one node will be shielded and invulnerable to damage. Destroying all other pink nodes before replication completes the puzzle and causes the third secret chest to spawn. Looting this chest completes the secret chest objective for the Choir: Eternal quest.

If the quest started at Expert difficulty, players need to continue further to defeat the Choral Mind, which will complete the second objective and unlock the Subsistence Refit catalyst for the Choir of One auto rifle.
