How to Get Premier Season 1 Medal

Counter-Strike 2 is nearing the end of its first Premier Season, sparking anticipation and curiosity about what Season 2 will bring. A key topic of interest among players is the special reward linked to this season, akin to the medals previously issued in CS.

An official announcement from Counter-Strike indicates that a unique medal will be awarded to each player who earned a CS Rating during the inaugural season. Meanwhile, reports suggest that mere participation in Premier mode might suffice to earn this keepsake. This article will delve into the details and significance of the Premier Season 1 medal for players.

Acquiring the CS2 Premier Season 1 Medal

To earn the coveted CS2 Premier Season 1 Medal, players must have participated in the Premier rank matches during Season 1. This award, a testament to their performance, will be available at the onset of Premier Season 2 and can be retrieved once the game is launched.

Key Features of the Medal:

The medal acts as a performance summary, showcasing a player's achievements throughout the season. It includes:

  • Top Achieved Rank: Displays the highest rank reached by the player in Season 1.
  • Matches Overview: Includes the total number of matches played, highlighting wins, draws, and losses.
  • Performance Metrics: Features the win rate percentage, K/D Ratio, and other notable statistics such as:
    • MVPs: Number of times the player was named the Most Valuable Player.
    • Aces, 4k, 3k: Counts of achieving five, four, and three kills in a round respectively.
    • Headshot Accuracy: Percentage of successful headshots.

In addition to these highlights, Valve intends to add map-specific statistics. These may cover aspects like K/D Ratio, total kills, kills per round, headshot percentage, and assists across different maps.

Medal Presentation and Progression:

The medal initially might not reflect the player’s final rank visually. However, as Season 2 progresses, particularly after the Austin Major 2025, an update will allow the medal to represent the player's highest rank through a background color change.

Eligibility for Premier Mode:

To participate in Premier Mode and become eligible for the medal, players need to:

  1. Prime Status: Purchase this to gain access to Premier Mode.
  2. Reach Level 10: This can be done by playing modes like Deathmatch, Competitive, and Arms Race.
  3. Win 10 Matches: Secure a position in an ELO group and receive a rank.

With these steps completed, players are positioned to not only partake in the competitive scene but also secure recognition through the Premier Season 1 Medal.
