The Tomb Free Ray Gun
The Ray Gun has long been viewed as an essential tool for survival in the zombie-infested world of Black Ops 6. Players now have the chance to obtain this coveted weapon for free with the release of The Tomb update. By uncovering a hidden Easter egg, gamers can add the Ray Gun to their arsenal without much hassle.
This new feature in Black Ops 6 Zombies provides an exciting opportunity for players who might struggle with the usual challenges of acquiring powerful gear. Similar to other Easter eggs, involving items like headphones for hidden songs, this task requires some exploration and problem-solving. This introductory guide aims to assist players in securing the free Ray Gun, enhancing their capabilities in the ongoing fight against the undead.
Black Ops 6 Zombies: Unlocking the Free Ray Gun in The Tomb
To secure the free Ray Gun in The Tomb map of Black Ops 6 Zombies, players must first locate a shovel. These shovels are conveniently situated in various places around the map, including near the Death Perception Machine. They are distinguishable by their glowing white outline, making them easy to spot from afar. One of the benefits of this feature is the fixed locations of shovels, allowing players to repeatedly visit these points.
After acquiring a shovel, players should focus on identifying and visiting three critical digging sites. The first of these locations is positioned just past the PhD Flopper machine. The second site is situated near the Shrine of the Hierophants, next to the Stamin-Up Perk machine. Meanwhile, the third site can be found in the Deep Excavation area.
At each digging location, players will have the opportunity to excavate for an Ancient Gem. Standing close to the site will trigger a prompt to dig. It is essential to collect a total of three Ancient Gems from these designated locations.
Once all three gems are collected, players should proceed to the ancient statue found in the tombs area. This location is easily identified near a zombie spawn and a significant debris mound, also close to the Death Perception Machine. Interaction with the statue leads to the emergence of two elite Doppelghasts. After successfully defeating these foes, players receive the coveted free Ray Gun and an additional 600 Essence.
