You can now download ARC Raiders update 1.23.0 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Embark Studios released this patch one week after the major Flashpoint update, focusing on refinements, balance changes, and fixes that address issues introduced in recent content drops.
You’ve seen a steady rollout of updates throughout early 2026, following the game’s strong launch and industry recognition last year. With roadmap milestones like Headwinds, Shrouded Sky, and Flashpoint adding new threats, map conditions, and gameplay changes, this latest patch keeps the experience stable as Embark moves toward the next phase of its seasonal plans.
ARC Raiders Releases 1.23.0 Update
You now have access to update 1.23.0 in ARC Raiders, a follow-up patch aimed at correcting issues that surfaced after the recent Flashpoint rollout. While Flashpoint expanded the game with the Vaporizer ARC, the demanding Close Scrutiny modifier, additional cosmetics, and new Scrappy features, it also introduced technical problems that required immediate attention.
Embark pushed this patch live on April 8 after delaying it one day from its original April 7 target. You can download it on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and you must restart your client to apply the update.
Key Additions
- Vanguard Set added to the in-game shop
- Broad bug fixes across gameplay, UI, maps, and event content
- Combat and explosive balance adjustments
The Vanguard Set delivers a new armored cosmetic option for your scavenger. It joins the store rotation as the primary content addition in this patch.
Gameplay and Combat Fixes
You should notice improved combat consistency. Trigger ‘Nades no longer stack unintended damage when detonated near each other. Previously, overlapping blasts could inflict roughly triple the expected damage.
Weapon handling also feels more predictable. The update corrects an issue where weapons would fire automatically without player input. It also resolves a bug that delayed item usage when you held the fire button and swapped equipment.
Rocketeer audio returns to its intended state. Flashpoint unintentionally altered the sound profile, and this patch restores the correct audio behavior.
Movement tuning affects specific ARC units. Rocketeers and Vaporizers no longer exhibit odd idle movement speeds, which previously made their behavior appear inconsistent.
Map and Environment Corrections
You should encounter fewer environment-related deaths. A bug in Stella Montis that allowed enemies to shoot players through the floor has been fixed.
The Close Scrutiny event also received stability improvements, addressing multiple minor issues that affected encounter flow.
User Interface Adjustments
The weapon upgrade screen now reflects accurate progression limits. It no longer suggests that you can upgrade a weapon to level five, which remains unavailable.
Ongoing Issue
One major problem remains unresolved. If an ARC attacks while you hold a battery or field crate and a Tick attaches to you, you still cannot remove it. This results in unavoidable deaths in certain situations, and the patch does not yet address it.
You can review the full patch notes in-game for a detailed breakdown of every change included in version 1.23.0.

You should now hear the proper warning cues during encounters, which improves combat awareness and consistency.
Gameplay Fixes and Tweaks:

- Stopped weapons and items from firing automatically without player input.
- Resolved a shoulder-swap bug that locked your camera to one side.
- Closed an exploit that let you use the Anvil Splitter without its intended dispersion penalty.

- Assessors properly return to orbit without breaking due to repeated Breach & Search inputs.
- ARC units summoned by an Assessor now despawn if they remain inactive for too long.
