Apex Space Hunt Event
Apex Legends is gearing up for its latest event, the Space Hunt, which kicks off on September 17 and runs through October 8. Players can look forward to a new Universal Heirloom and an array of themed cosmetics.
In addition, the event introduces a fresh Limited Time Mode (LTM) and offers opportunities to unlock characters Crypto and Wattson for free. This new event promises to bring exciting new content and challenges to the game.
New Universal Heirloom coming to Apex
The upcoming Universal Heirloom, called Serpent's Sting, is set to make its debut in the game. This new heirloom joins the ranks alongside other Universal Heirlooms like the Cobalt Katar and the Buster Sword. Initially, players can acquire the Serpent's Sting exclusively through the Space Hunt Event Packs.
Once all event-specific cosmetics are unlocked, the Serpent's Sting becomes available.
Additional customizations can be purchased, including the new Crimson Ripper holographic Kill Counter. This feature displays red holographic triangles on the Serpent's Sting as players achieve kills, resetting each match. If a player becomes the Kill Leader, they will see a unique crown holographic at the top, indicating their status.
Apex Space Hunt Reward Shop and Cosmetics
The Apex Space Hunt event introduces 36 unique, time-limited cosmetics. Each item collected contributes to unlocking bonus rewards as players achieve specific milestones during the event.

Besides these cosmetics, players can earn Bounty Bucks by completing daily event challenges. These Bounty Bucks allow players to select their preferred rewards from the Space Hunt Reward Shop.
The reward shop’s offerings will rotate midway through the event, providing fresh options. There are also special Space Hunt deals available in the Apex shop during this period, offering additional items to enhance the gameplay experience.
New Mode: Knockout
The Apex Space Hunt event brings a thrilling new mode called Knockout. This objective-based competition challenges squads to capture zones and gather EVO to score points. The five lowest-scoring squads are eliminated after each round, making every point critical. Players enjoy infinite respawns until the Sudden Death finale. After three rounds, the remaining five squads face off in an all-out battle where only one squad will emerge victorious.
