All about Warzone Pacific Season 3

It's that time! Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 3 is just around the corner. This third season promises to be a blast. From Operation Monarch to a new Ranked Play season, there's plenty of new content in there. We're going to tell you all about it.

The system of seasons within Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific is similar to that of Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War. This means that players can expect new weapons, operators and a brand new battle pass each season. Each Warzone Pacific season will also receive a mid-season update.

Warzone Pacific Season 3 release

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 3 will launch April 27 at 18:00 Dutch time. This will officially conclude the second season of Vanguard and Warzone Pacific. The update for the third season will be available for download a few days earlier.

We also see plenty of new weapons, two new maps for Vanguard and a new season for Call of Duty Ranked Play. Zombies fans get the short end of the stick with a few new weapons and challenges.

Godzilla vs Kong in Warzone

Godzilla vs Kong in Warzone? That's right! Operation Monarch brings these monsters to the island of Caldera. Two weeks after the release of Warzone Season 3, on May 11, the event will kick off. The trailer introduces the crossover.

The fight between Godzilla and Kong will undoubtedly affect the island of Caldera. New „points of interest“ have already been announced and it seems logical that these changes will be made after the event, as a result of the chaos. During Operation Monarch, Godzilla and Kong tracer packs will be available for purchase in the shop.

In an email about Operation Monarch, the developers send along the following text: „Deploy, discover and fight among the titans. Be sure to watch your step… and theirs“. From these words, we can see that Operation Monarch will be more than just a scene. Most likely, the monster will fight live while you and your team are the last to try to stay alive.

Warzone Season 3 POIs.

Call of Duty: Warzone is getting new points of interest in the third season. The first new POI we encounter is Peak. It seems that the work on Peak is finally complete. This results in new buildings, one of which is large. These buildings are connected by several corridors.

The Runway POI is also being modified. The barracks and hangars will be adjusted in a positive way. In addition, a new route near Lagoon will be added. The bridge near Lighthouse will remain. Furthermore, Monarch Dig Site is another new POI. This location can be found between Mine and Ruins and will house a skeleton of a monster. This is the place to loot.

Finally, the third season brings a new Gulag called Hold. The setting of this small map is a stranded ship. Hold is nearly symmetrical and replaces the Gulag as we have long known it.

New Weapons for Warzone and Vanguard
Four new weapons will be added to Warzone and Vanguard in this new season. Two of these weapons will be available immediately on April 27. The others will be added later, presumably with the mid-season update.

The first weapon is the M1916 marksman rifle and will be available immediately on April 27. This weapon is unlocked through the battle pass and is described as a weapon with a high damage and fire rate. Those who are skilled enough can make this weapon an absolute hit.

In addition, a new assault rifle will be added: the Nikita AVT. This weapon will also be available on April 27. This assault rifle is accurate and has a high rate of fire. This means that the damage per bullet is low. This weapon fits well with players who like submachine guns, but just want that little extra power. Finally, later in the season the H4 Blixen (submachine gun) and the Sledgehammer will be added.

The arrival of the third season traditionally brings a trailer. In this beautiful trailer, it is told that the Nazis have used the Nebula V gas to awaken something more powerful and terrifying than we ever predicted. So this is Godzilla and Kong.

New Ranked Play Season

Call of Duty Ranked Play is also getting a new season with Warzone Season 3. Players must place themselves in a division again with five placement matches. From there, they get new chances to enter the higher divisions again this season. Where will you end up this season?

To get the best out of yourself in Ranked Play, you would be wise to play with the best Ranked Play loadouts. Right now the Automaton, MP40 and Volkssturmgewehr are doing very well.

Warzone Pacific Season 3 Battle Pass

The third season of Warzone Pacific and Call of Duty: Vanguard naturally has its own battle pass. In this season pass there are again plenty of rewards, such as operators, calling cards, emblems, blue prints and much more. Call of Duty is also fully integrated again this season, which means that you take all the progression in Warzone with you to the Call of Duty Multiplayer and Call of Duty Zombies.
