After suspension! Jay „sinatraa“ Won comes back
A year ago, Jay „sinatraa“ Won had to put his pro career on hold. Now, after his suspension expired, the former Overwatch champion wants to compete again in Valorant. A problematic return.
After more than a year, Jay „sinatraa“ Won plans to return to the stage of Valorant.
It’s been a year since I was forced to step back from competitive play. In that time, I have learned a lot about myself and grown as a person. I am now ready for a return to competitive play and will be starting tryouts this week.

The previously successful eSportsman in Overwatch had to pause his active career due to accusations of sexual misconduct. Last year, he was accused by his ex-girlfriend Cleo „Cle0h“ Hernandez of sexually and mentally harassing her. In addition to a police investigation initiated by Hernandez, Riot Games also investigated the incident. In the end, sinatraa was given a six-month suspension for making false statements.
A problematic return
Although the facts regarding sinatraa's misconduct have not yet been conclusively clarified, a majority of his fans are nevertheless excited about his return. According to their own reports, he will be taking part in the first try-outs later this week, which suggests that he may not be playing for the Sentinals. Others, however, are extremely critical of the whole thing.

Among others, U.S. eSports journalist Liz Richardson expresses dismay and deep concern about the situation. In a series of tweets, she stated, among other things, that she had received death threats from sinatraa fans because she spoke out on the subject. Caleb „mcgravy“ McGarvey also strongly condemns the situation. He himself is an assistant coach for Florida Mayhem in the Overwatch League. How the whole situation will end up depends on the outcome of the authorities‘ investigation.
