Rainbow Six Mobile Final Season Launch Global Launch

You are approaching the final stretch before Rainbow Six Mobile reaches its global release on February 23. Ubisoft plans one last pre-launch season, giving you a preview of upcoming content and balance updates ahead of the worldwide rollout.

This season, called Operation Masquerade, adds new gameplay elements, limited-time activities, and ranked challenges to refine the experience. You also gain access to a new defender, Castle, alongside targeted changes to existing operators that aim to improve clarity and team coordination.

Weekly Events Coming to Operation Masquerade

You can expect rotating weekly activities that change how you play while pushing toward launch. Each week introduces a distinct rule set and match structure, giving you clear reasons to log in regularly.

Week Event What You Play
1 Storm the Castles 3v3 Secure Area with respawns and an all-Castle defense team
2–3 Invitational Doubles 2v2 Bomb on Restaurant or Clubhouse
4 Trophy Hunt Score points by collecting drops from defeated enemies

Storm the Castles focuses on short rounds and constant pressure, since respawns stay active. Invitational Doubles narrows the action to tight teamwork and quick decisions on compact maps.

Trophy Hunt shifts priorities away from pure eliminations, asking you to secure objectives after each fight. As you take part in these weekly modes, you unlock seasonal rewards tied to your overall participation rather than single-match results.

Rewards Available in the New Season

You can earn several in-game rewards by completing seasonal objectives tied to Operation Masquerade. Ranked play returns with a refreshed reward pool, including a distinctive cosmetic for Ash that reflects your performance.

Best of 7 Ranked also reappears, offering rotating weekend rewards such as battle pass experience boosts. These incentives encourage consistent participation across the season.

Limited-time events add more progression paths. The Castle-focused enlistment challenge grants themed rewards, while Mining Madness lets you collect Obsidian, which you can trade in The Forge for Dark Crystal weapon skins.

Does Rainbow Six Mobile have an Esports Scene?

You do not have access to a publisher-run competitive circuit yet, unlike the PC and console version. You can still find organized play through community efforts that filled the gap before worldwide release.

What exists right now

  • Player-hosted tournaments using early builds
  • Cups like Fusion Winter Cup and Nexo Cup
  • Small brackets focused on competitive testing and visibility
