Fragadelphia Miami CS2 LAN 2026

Fragadelphia will open the 2026 Counter-Strike 2 calendar with a LAN tournament in Miami, scheduled for January 2–4. The event, known as Miami Frag 2, will feature 32 teams competing for a prize pool that can reach $10,000, with entry available on a first-come, first-served basis once ticket sales begin.

Team placement for the tournament will be based on the Valve Regional Standings from December 2025, giving participants a chance to secure valuable points toward Major qualification. The announcement follows the rapid sellout of The Block 2 LAN, where demand forced an expansion to 48 teams, highlighting the continued growth of Fragadelphia’s events in North America.

Growing Attention Toward Fragadelphia

Fragadelphia has seen a noticeable rise in participation as teams look to strengthen their standing in the VRS rankings ahead of the Budapest Major. The timing of its events has created an opportunity for both North American and international squads to secure crucial points.

Several well-known European organizations, including:

  • Fnatic
  • ENCE
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas

plan to compete in upcoming tournaments, highlighting the event’s broader appeal.

Regional interest varies, as some teams weigh the risk of traveling against their current ranking stability. If international turnout is limited, the Miami Frag 2 event could feature a heavier focus on North American rosters. This would give domestic teams a chance to solidify their positions while competing against fewer overseas challengers.
