How to Hide Account Level

Since its launch, Valorant has attracted a dedicated community of players, many of whom have impressive account levels reflecting their time and skill in the game. These levels can be seen as symbols of dedication and experience, allowing one to showcase their progress.

However, sharing this information can sometimes lead to negative behavior from others in the gaming environment. For those concerned about privacy or seeking a more peaceful gaming experience, Riot Games offers a straightforward solution to keep account levels private. Players can easily toggle this feature, giving them control over their own gaming experience.

Concealing Your Account Level in Valorant

To keep your account level private in Valorant, follow these straightforward steps:

  1. Start Valorant: Begin by launching the game on your device.
  2. Navigate to Collections: Look for and select the ‘Collections’ tab at the top of the screen.
  3. Access Player Cards: Within Collections, find and enter the ‘Player Cards’ section.
  4. Adjust Level Borders: Click on the ‘Level Borders’ option.
  5. Modify Visibility Settings: In the lower-right corner, you’ll see an option, “Show my account level on my player card.” Simply uncheck this box.

Once these steps are completed, your account level will be hidden from others during gameplay. However, be aware that those in your party can still view your level through your player profile. This feature offers a bit of privacy from other players you compete against. Additionally, players can focus purely on gameplay without being influenced by displayed experience levels. This setting provides optional anonymity, which can be desirable for players who prefer a more private gaming experience.
