Best Heroes Counter Valentina

Valentina, a prominent mage hero in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, has become a preferred choice among players in both ranked and professional games. Her unique abilities make her a formidable adversary on the battlefield, drawing attention with her ultimate skill. This skill, I Am You, allows her to replicate the ultimate ability and basic attacks of her opponents for a limited time, providing a strategic advantage.

Her strength is further enhanced by her passive skill, Primal Force, which increases her experience points whenever she inflicts damage on enemies. Additionally, she possesses powerful offensive skills like Shadow Strike, which delivers significant damage while instilling fear in foes, and Arcane Shade, an ability that affords her agility and reduces her other skill cooldowns. Despite her strengths, Valentina is known to struggle against heroes equipped with abilities that close the gap quickly or those whose ultimates offer little advantage when mimicked.

Strong Responses to Valentina in Mobile Legends

Natalia

Natalia can quickly eliminate fragile characters. By utilizing her concealment ability from Assassin Instinct, she can strategically move from bush to bush, making her unpredictable and difficult to track. The key is to time the engagement well against Valentina. Hero Lock Mode can be a strategic choice to ensure Natalia targets Valentina directly.

Natalia's initial attack should silence Valentina using the enhanced basic attack, followed by a decisive strike with The Hunt ability. Claw Dash and Smoke Bomb offer escape options after delivering the burst damage.

Gusion

Gusion stands out as another effective assassin against Valentina. His capability to unleash a powerful combo makes him a formidable foe. A recommended strategy involves executing a blend of Shadowblade Slaughter and Sword Spike, layered with Incandescence to repeat the sequence. Alternatively, a more streamlined combo involves combining Shadowblade Slaughter, Incandescence, and Sword Spike for effective burst damage.

Valentina's attempt to mimic Gusion's Incandescence ability is limited, offering only blink and dash without resetting skill cooldowns, which reduces its effectiveness.

Kagura

For those looking to challenge Valentina in the midlane, Kagura offers a unique combination of gap closing, crowd control, and significant damage potential. Initiate engagements with Seimei Umbrella Open to slow Valentina, following up with Yin Yang Overturn. This can be further optimized by repositioning the umbrella to pull Valentina in and stunning her with Rasho Umbrella Flee.

When Kagura's abilities are on cooldown, using Rasho Umbrella Flee provides a moment of respite to reposition or escape. If Valentina survives Kagura's combo, she can be finished off with Flameshot. Notably, Valentina's ability to mimic Kagura is somewhat restricted, as she can only utilize one form of Yin Yang Overturn.

Kagura’s combo execution may require practice to master. It is advisable to attempt these strategies in Hero Training or AI mode before applying them in competitive matches.
