ALGS Rostermania: Roster Rules Recap

Teams in the ALGS are subject to a 2/4 roster rule, which means they must keep at least two players from their previous Pro League Split. To gain more roster flexibility, some teams list their coach as the fourth player, enabling them to swap out two players between splits.

Qualified teams are prohibited from making roster changes until the end of Week 1, except for the addition of new players or coaches. Public „LFT“ (Looking for Team) posts and Battlefy rosters help track these changes. Players who have declared their intention to leave but are still listed on Battlefy are considered as having left. Similarly, those not on Battlefy and silent about any team changes are also regarded as departed.
