Valorant Act 6 Map Rotation
VALORANT’s competitive map pool is set for another shift with the arrival of Act 6. Riot Games confirmed that Pearl and Split will rejoin the rotation, while Ascent and Lotus will step out after their extended run in competitive play. This adjustment aligns with the developer’s ongoing approach of cycling maps to keep the game balanced and fresh for players.
The update will go live with patch 11.08 following the conclusion of the 2025 VALORANT Champions tournament. Players will soon need to adapt their strategies to the returning maps, as both Pearl and Split bring distinct layouts and challenges that can significantly influence team compositions and tactical choices.

Last year, Shopify Rebellion dominated the competition, claiming their second consecutive championship after sweeping every domestic stage. In 2025, they have already secured victory in Challengers North America: Stage 1. Their consistency raises the question of whether they can extend that success to the world stage once again.
The spotlight now shifts toward which teams can rise to challenge them in Seoul, making this year’s tournament one of the most anticipated in the Game Changers circuit.
