Street Fighter 6 C Viper Release Date

Capcom continues to expand the roster of Street Fighter 6 with the addition of C. Viper, a character known for her high-tech combat style and distinctive appearance. The game, now more than two years into its lifecycle, remains a central focus for the company as it delivers steady updates, new fighters, and fresh content to maintain player engagement.

The Tokyo Game Show provided the stage for Capcom to showcase its upcoming projects alongside this reveal. Highlights included new looks at titles such as PragmataResident Evil RequiemOnimusha, and Monster Hunter, as well as special promotions tied to the event. This broad lineup reflects Capcom’s ongoing strategy of supporting established franchises while introducing new experiences.

Street Fighter 6 C. Viper Launch Date

C. Viper officially joins the Street Fighter 6 roster on October 15, 2025. Her arrival comes as part of the game’s third year of post-launch content, following the addition of Sagat earlier in the season. Players who own the Year 3 Character Pass or Year 3 Ultimate Pass will gain immediate access to her, while others can purchase her separately with Fighter Coins, the game’s premium currency.

The reveal included a gameplay trailer that showcased her signature fighting style. Viper retains several of her trademark techniques, such as Burning Kick and Seismic Hammer, both enhanced by her high-tech gear. Her combat style continues to emphasize agility and power, with her specialized boots granting her the ability to perform elevated jumps.

Capcom also confirmed that players will have access to multiple outfits. Her default look reflects her updated role within the Street Fighter 6 storyline, while an alternate outfit recreates her classic appearance from Street Fighter 4. This gives players the option to experience her in both a modern and nostalgic style.

On the same day as her release, additional content will also become available. Zangief receives a new Outfit 4, titled Mech Zangie-F, which references one of his mechanical-themed designs from earlier entries in the series. This update expands customization options for long-time fans of the character.

Capcom further announced crossover events to coincide with Viper’s launch. The first is a collaboration with Cavalera Conspiracy, a heavy metal band whose music will be tied to Zangief’s new outfit release. The second is with the visual novel Banshee’s Last Cry, celebrating its 30th anniversary. This crossover introduces a themed scenario in World Tour Mode, along with unique Battle Hub decorations and unlockable items that mirror the eerie tone of the original game.
