Overwatch 2 Nerf Event
Overwatch 2 has launched an exciting collaboration with Nerf, introducing players to a range of new weapon skins and a unique Cassidy hero skin. The update also features a special event packed with distinct challenges and exclusive rewards to enhance player collections.
Alongside these additions, participants can access a limited-time game mode centered around the Nerf theme. As part of the event, players have the opportunity to earn the Nerf Gelfire Pro Tracer weapon skin for free, offering new ways to customize and enjoy their experience in Overwatch 2.
Overwatch 2 Foam Blaster Celebration
During August 5–19, players are able to join the limited-time „Nerf or Nothin'“ game mode. In this free-for-all, eight competitors face off, and each elimination not only swaps a player's hero but also pushes them closer to victory. The first to achieve 20 eliminations claims the top spot.
How to Play:
- Access through the main menu by selecting Nerf and hitting Play, or enter via the Arcade.

Every elimination contributes to four special event tasks, encouraging ongoing participation.
Overwatch 2 Nerf challenges and rewards
Players can participate in the Overwatch 2 Nerf event by completing elimination-focused objectives, each with a linked cosmetic or in-game reward. Earning eliminations or assists—outside of Total Mayhem and co-op modes—will help players progress through these tasks. All progress counts, regardless of whether the Nerf or Nothin‘ mode is played.
