Fortnite x Hercules Release Date, Skins, and Event Details

You will soon see characters from Disney’s Hercules enter Fortnite as part of the ongoing collaboration between Epic Games and Disney. The crossover brings one of Disney’s 1997 animated films back into focus, adding new skins and themed cosmetics to the in-game Item Shop.

You can expect three main characters to arrive alongside additional items tied to the film. This update expands Fortnite’s lineup of Disney properties and gives you another set of recognizable characters to use in matches.

Hercules Fortnite collab: Release date and confirmed cosmetics

You can access the Disney Hercules crossover starting March 28 at 8 p.m. EDT, when the set goes live in the Item Shop. Multiple known leakers reported the release ahead of launch, and other sources quickly supported the same timing.

This update centers on three key characters from the 1997 animated film:

  • Hercules Outfit
  • Megara Outfit
  • Hades Outfit

Each character arrives as a standalone skin and also appears in a larger themed bundle. The bundle expands beyond outfits and includes a full set of matching accessories.

Confirmed bundle contents:

Cosmetic Type Quantity
Outfits 3
Back Blings 3
Pickaxes 3
Emotes 2
Jam Tracks 1–2

You can expect each character to receive a dedicated Back Bling and harvesting tool designed around their film appearance. The emotes and Jam Tracks add extra themed flair, though Epic Games has not detailed specific animations or music elements yet.

This collaboration adds another Disney property to Fortnite’s growing lineup, joining other previously released Disney characters already available in the game.

How much will these skins cost?

Epic Games has not confirmed official prices for the Hercules collaboration. You will need to wait until the Item Shop refresh on March 28 to see the exact numbers.

You can, however, look at past Disney crossovers for guidance. Recent villain-themed outfits typically ranged between 1,800 and 2,000 V-Bucks, which gives you a practical estimate for this release.

Based on that pattern, expect pricing similar to the following:

Outfit Estimated Price (V-Bucks)
Hercules 2,000
Megara 1,800
Hades 1,800

Hercules stands as the central character in this set. Because of that, you may see him priced at the higher end of the scale.

Additional cosmetics such as Pickaxes and Back Blings remain uncertain. In previous Disney sets, Epic bundled these items together instead of selling them individually. If that approach returns, you may need to purchase a larger bundle to get the full collection.

If you plan to buy everything, prepare for a total cost above the price of a single skin. Keep extra V-Bucks ready in case a premium bundle appears.

Have your say!
