You rarely see Fortnite collaborations stay secret for long, yet Epic Games managed to surprise you with a Power Rangers: Dino Thunder crossover. Instead of the usual leaks, the reveal came directly from the developer, catching much of the community off guard.
The update brings the White and Black Dino Thunder Rangers into the game, giving you new cosmetic options tied to the long-running franchise. You can access the collaboration starting Thursday, Feb. 19, as part of Fortnite’s ongoing lineup of crossover content.
Fortnite x Power Rangers: Dino Thunder arrives February 19 at 7 p.m. ET
You can pick up the Black Ranger and White Ranger from Dino Thunder when they enter the Item Shop at 7 p.m. ET on February 19. Epic confirmed their arrival as part of the next Power Rangers wave.
You get both characters in a dedicated bundle. Each Ranger includes their signature gear, which appears as themed Pickaxes:
- Black Ranger — Brachio Staff
- White Ranger — Drago Sword
The set also features a morph-style Emote inspired by the Dino Thunder transformation sequence.

Who Are These Rangers?
You get two key figures from Power Rangers Dino Thunder: Tommy Oliver and Trent Fernandez-Mercer.
Tommy Oliver, the Black Ranger, steps into this era as a high school science teacher. He mentors the Red, Blue, and Yellow Rangers while fighting alongside them. This version of Tommy channels the Brachiozord, adding heavy power and experience to the team. Longtime fans recognize him as a veteran Ranger with multiple past identities.
Trent Fernandez-Mercer, the White Ranger, starts on the opposite side. As a student at the same school, he initially serves the villain Mesogog and clashes with the team. Over time, he breaks free from that control and joins the Rangers as a full ally.
In Fortnite, you see them arrive alongside the six original Mighty Morphin Rangers on February 19. Expect themed cosmetics tied directly to their Dino Thunder designs.
