How to Sabotage Payphones

In Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2, players have found themselves in quests requiring the sabotage of payphones, particularly for characters like Valentina and Skillet. These tasks, though they may seem challenging at first, are simplified by the strategic placement of the payphones. At Outlaw Oasis, a lavish spa complex known for its modern architecture and serene hot springs, all the necessary devices are found in one convenient location.

Situated on the map's west side, Outlaw Oasis eliminates the need for extensive searching. Its proximity west of Crime City makes it an easily recognizable point of interest (POI) for players looking to complete their objectives quickly. Here, adventurers can join forces with Valentina, making their pursuit of these tasks both efficient and immersive within the vibrant gaming universe.

Steps to Disable Payphones in Fortnite

In Outlaw Oasis, players can find three payphones, each located strategically around the area. The first payphone stands by the main entrance, making it rather simple to find. Meanwhile, the second one is hidden around the corner of the tallest structure toward the back of the location. The last payphone is attached to the building on the left side, facing the central hot springs.

To disable these payphones, players must approach the ringing devices and interact with them. Unsabotaged payphones emit a ring as players get near and glow with a white aura. Additionally, white exclamation points will appear on the minimap to help in locating them more easily.

There is an important aspect to be cautious about. When a payphone is being sabotaged, the character performs an animation that leaves them immobile for a brief moment. During this period, players are vulnerable to attacks from opponents who may also have arrived at Outlaw Oasis. It is wise to be prepared for any potential battles that might arise while engaging in this task.
