Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, titled Runners, launched on June 6, 2026 and introduces a fresh set of gameplay changes. You can expect new locations, weapons, and items that reshape how matches unfold across the island.

Updated and New Landmarks in Fortnite: Runners

You can now drop into three confirmed locations that reshape the island in Chapter 7 Season 3: Cluster CoastThe Zero Point, and Heatwave Harbor.

  • Cluster Coast stands out with its oversized duck-themed structure that dominates the skyline and creates clear sightlines and vertical fights.
  • The Zero Point returns as a central focal area, altering terrain and engagement flow nearby.
  • Heatwave Harbor adds a coastal zone built for tight combat and fast rotations.

Fresh additions to your loadout

Chapter 7 Season 3 expands your options with seven new tools that reshape close- and mid-range fights. You can test precision with the Extending Focus Shotgun and the Surgical Burst Rifle, or lean into heavier pressure using the Chaos Exploder Rifle, a heavy assault option built for sustained fire.

The Lancehead Pistol stands out with a 21-round magazine and a unique mechanic that lets you eject and throw the mag to deal extra damage. Later in the season, you can also pick up the Bank Shot Pistol.

Mobility changes how you take fights. The Seven Sliders let you slide while aiming down sights and briefly slow time, giving you more control during engagements. Shock Rocks will join the pool later in the season, and the Sprite Extractor ties into the updated Sprite systems.

Weapons making a comeback this season

Several familiar choices return to the loot pool:

  • Striker Pump
  • Maven Auto Shotgun
  • Ranger Pistol
  • Stinger SMG
  • Hunting Rifle
  • Chaos Reloader Shotgun

You can rely on these established weapons to anchor your loadout while experimenting with the season’s new gear.

Sprite Abilities

Chapter 7 Season 3 expands the Sprite system with ten distinct companions, mixing returning options with eight new additions across multiple rarities. You can track them down during matches, extract them, and activate their specific advantages.

Each Sprite changes how you approach fights or rotations. The Mythic Zero Point Sprite stands out by deploying a Bubble Shield Jr. while restoring your health, giving you protection and recovery at the same time.

You must secure a Sprite in-match to unlock its effect. Later, you can use the Sprite Dust item to reactivate that power in future games.

Available Sprites:

  • Earth
  • Fire
  • Water
  • Duck
  • Ghost
  • Demon
  • King
  • Dream
  • Punk
  • Zero Point

Choose based on your strategy, whether you need mobility, defense, or utility.

Bus Exfil (Arriving Later in Chapter 7 Season 3)

Epic plans to add a limited-time Bus Exfil feature later this season. During select matches, the Battle Bus can return near the end of a round, creating a brief extraction window.

If the bus appears, you can rush to board it and secure a win without eliminating every remaining opponent. Multiple squads may extract in the same match, which changes how you approach late-game positioning.

Key details so far:

  • The event triggers randomly.
  • You get a short window to board.
  • More than one team can win through extraction.
