Division God Roll and Best Perks

Division is a standout burst sidearm in Destiny 2, known for its effectiveness in clearing groups of enemies. The popularity of burst sidearms arises from their efficiency in handling crowds, especially when equipped with area-of-effect perks that amplify their power.

One of the highly sought-after configurations for Division is its god roll, which enhances its performance significantly in the game. Players are keen on securing this setup to optimize their experience and gain a competitive edge in Destiny 2’s dynamic environment.

What is the Ideal Division Roll in Destiny 2?

Optimal PvE Division Roll

For player versus environment engagements, certain combinations enhance the Division sidearm's effectiveness. The choice of a Fluted Barrel ensures enhanced handling and stability. Couple this with the Tactical Mag for increased stability and a faster reload speed. A standout perk for this setup is Eddy Current, which boosts reload speed and handling while sprinting, with amplified effects when overcharged.

Voltshot becomes an apparent choice, enabling the weapon to discharge Jolting energy upon reloading after a kill, making it highly beneficial in Arc-focused seasons. Incorporating the Runneth Over origin trait further elevates performance by increasing reload speed, complemented by a Reload Speed Masterwork and Ammo Finder Mod. This makes the weapon a top contender for any Arc or sidearm-centric strategies.

Optimal PvP Division Roll

In player versus player scenarios, the sidearm shines with specific configurations. Employing Corkscrew Rifling results in improved range and handling, matched well with Accurized Rounds for an additional range boost.

Key perks here include Hip-Fire Grip, enhancing accuracy while shooting from the hip, coupled with Offhand Strike for greater range, stability, and accuracy following a hip-fire shot. This duo makes the Division a reliable secondary weapon to support a primary weapon with longer reach.

If a different setup is preferred, Eye of the Storm remains an excellent choice, offering performance boosts when health is low. The Willing Vessel origin trait enhances usability further, with Range Masterwork and Ballistics Mod refining this weapon for mid-range skirmishes.

Obtaining the Division Sidearm in Destiny 2

To acquire the Division sidearm in Destiny 2, players should focus on Episode: Heresy activities, available during Act 2 or 3, which is expected later in the season. This weapon is linked to seasonal occurrences like The Nether. By adjusting the Tome of Want towards sidearms, players have a slightly increased chance of obtaining this weapon when it becomes available.

A previous bug allowed some players to obtain Division early, but this has now been rectified. Currently, the Division cannot be crafted but can be enhanced with upgraded perks once acquired. Players must engage in the seasonal events patiently to eventually add Division to their arsenal.
