China CS2 Event 2027

You can expect a Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 event in China when PGL brings a major LAN tournament to the country from April 14 to April 26, 2027. The competition will feature 16 teams and a $1,000,000 prize pool, positioning it as a key stop on the global CS2 calendar.

If you follow the Valve Regional Standings, you will notice added incentives for top teams. The top five squads in the VRS that accept their invitations will each receive $60,000 from a separate $300,000 bonus pool, adding further weight to the event’s competitive stakes.

China to host more Tier 1 CS2 action

China continues to secure a stronger position in the top tier Counter‑Strike calendar. Recent seasons have already brought major LAN events to cities such as Chengdu and Shanghai, and you will see that momentum continue into 2027.

PGL has confirmed a Tier 1 CS2 LAN event in China scheduled for April 14–26, 2027. The organizer has not yet named the host city, but key event details are set:

  • Prize pool: $1,000,000
  • VRS Invite Bonus: $300,000
  • Format: Full LAN
  • Teams: 16 total
