Yes, you can still run Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but activity is extremely low. Finding real players is the main obstacle.

If matchmaking does connect you to a lobby, gameplay functions normally. In most cases, however, matches fill with bots instead of human opponents. You can still play full rounds, just without a consistent online community.

The console editions stopped receiving updates in 2013. That means you experience a much older build of the game, frozen in time compared to the PC version, which continued evolving until Counter-Strike 2 replaced it in 2023.
