Season 2 Reloaded in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 introduces the Lockshot, a new scorestreak that adds a different tactical option to multiplayer. You will not have immediate access to it, so you need to understand when and how it becomes available before adding it to your loadout.
The Lockshot stands out as a lower-cost streak, which means you can expect to see it used often once players unlock it. If you plan to stay competitive during the update, you should know exactly what to expect from its release and unlock requirements.
How to Get the Lockshot Scorestreak in Black Ops 7
You unlock the Lockshot through the Weekly Challenges system during Season 2 Reloaded. The reward becomes available in Week 6, which opens alongside the mid-season update on March 12.
To earn it, you must complete seven total challenges listed for that week. The game does not restrict you to one playlist, so you can spread your progress across multiple modes.
You can mix and match objectives across:
- Multiplayer
- Zombies
- Warzone
For example, you might finish four challenges in Multiplayer, two in Zombies, and one in Warzone. As long as you reach seven completed challenges in total, the system grants the reward. If you prefer a faster route, complete all seven in a single mode and avoid switching playlists.
After you meet the requirement, the Lockshot unlocks automatically. You can then equip it from the Scorestreaks menu in your loadout.
Plan your matches around active challenges to finish the set efficiently and secure the scorestreak as soon as Week 6 goes live.
