All Marvel Skins in Fortnite History
Fortnite has been known to bring a wide array of collaborative skins to its platform, particularly those from the Marvel Universe. This diverse collection showcases a range of characters from comics and cinematic stories, each introduced at various points in the game’s history.
Iconic Releases
Several notable skins marked their debut in 2019 and 2020. Black Widow and Star-Lord made their first appearance in the item shop in late April 2019. The following year saw the release of fan favorites such as Deadpool, Ravenpool, and Cuddlepool in February and April 2020, respectively. These were all available through in-game purchases.
Captain America joined the roster on July 3, 2020, via the battle pass, while other significant additions like Doctor Doom, Thor, Mystique, Tony Stark/Iron Man, Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, Wolverine, Groot, and Storm became available on August 27, 2020, also through the battle pass.
Continued Collaborations
The collaborations didn't stop there. In September 2020, the item shop saw the arrival of Blade and Daredevil followed by Ghost Rider and the Black Widow (Snow Suit) in November 2020. By the end of the year, players were introduced to Venom, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Taskmaster.
In 2021, the trend continued with the introduction of characters like Ant-Man, Thanos, and Loki. Spider-Man made a significant debut on December 5, 2021, featured in the battle pass. Additionally, characters from the Spider-Man universe including MJ (No Way Home) and Spider-Man (No Way Home) were added to the item shop in the same month.
Expansion into 2022 and Beyond
2022 brought new entries such as Doctor Strange and Prowler in the battle pass, while Moon Knight, Scarlet Witch, and Spider-Man Zero joined the item shop. Noteworthy additions also included Mighty Thor, Thor Odinson, Wolverine Zero, Spider-Gwen, and Iron Man Zero.
Hulk, Captain America (Sam Wilson), and BriteStar became available in the item shop in early 2023. By midyear, the item shop expanded further with characters like Spider-Man (Miles Morales) and Spider-Man 2099.
Recent Additions
Exciting new arrivals in 2024 include Young Adult Groot, Mantis, and Drax each becoming part of the item shop. More releases followed with Sakaaran Champion Hulk, Hela Odinsdottor, Sylvie Laufeydottir, and Loki, God Of Stories.
In July 2024, Wastelander Magneto was added to the battle pass, and Weapon X, Deadpool (Pen & Ink), Wolverine (Pen & Ink), Jubilee, Colossus, and Cyclops entered the item shop. August 2024 featured new battle pass skins like Captain Jones, War Machine, Gwenpool, Emma Frost, Shuri, Mysterio, and Peelverine. The item shop introduced the Iron Spider in late August.
