Overwatch Anniversary 2026 Week 3 Challenges

Week 3 of the Overwatch Anniversary 2026 event is now live, and you can take on a fresh set of challenges before the celebration ends. This final stretch focuses on limited-time objectives that reward you with bonus loot and event items.

You can also claim a free 10th Anniversary Loot Box just by launching the game. It guarantees four Legendary skins, adding even more value to this last week of rewards.

Overwatch Anniversary 2026 rewards: Week 3

Week 3 centers on Overwatch Classic 2020, while also rewarding steady match completion across standard modes. You earn both Anniversary loot boxes and Season 2 Battle Pass XP by playing regularly, with wins and Stadium matches counting for double progress on most challenges.

Below are the match-based objectives tied directly to Anniversary loot boxes:

Challenge Requirement Reward
Shimada Bros Complete 1 game 1 Anniversary Loot Box
Tokki in the Club Complete 5 games* 1 Anniversary Loot Box
Old Soldiers Complete 10 games* 1 Anniversary Loot Box
Sus Rattus Complete 15 games* 1 Anniversary Loot Box
Nuts & Bolts Complete 20 games* 1 Anniversary Loot Box

*Wins grant double progress. Stadium matches also grant double progress.

If you complete all five milestones, you secure up to five Anniversary loot boxes during Week 3 through match participation alone.

Role-focused challenges tied to the Classic 2020 playlist offer Battle Pass progression instead of loot boxes. You must queue into Mystery Showdown and finish matches in specific roles:

  • Classic 2020: Support – Complete 5 games as a Support hero → 10,000 Battle Pass XP
  • Classic 2020: Damage – Complete 5 games as a Damage hero → 10,000 Battle Pass XP
  • Classic 2020: Tank – Complete 5 games as a Tank hero → 10,000 Battle Pass XP

These role challenges reward a total of 30,000 Battle Pass XP, giving you a direct boost toward Season 2 progression.

Week 3 also ties into the event-wide Global Loot Box Charge. If the community reaches the required contribution thresholds by the end of the event, you unlock additional rewards:

  • 3 Base Loot Boxes
  • 3 Epic Loot Boxes
  • 3 Legendary Loot Boxes

You receive these at the event’s conclusion if the respective global tiers are achieved.

The Decennium Contributor challenge requires you to complete 10 games, with wins and Stadium matches granting double progress. Instead of loot boxes, it advances your overall challenge completion count. You can continue completing this objective to help finish remaining meta challenges from earlier weeks, including those tied to limited-time player titles.

Overwatch Classic 2020 patch notes

Week 3 of the 10th Anniversary event lets you queue for Overwatch Classic 2020, a return to six-versus-six with mandatory Role Queue. You play under the October 2020 balance framework, so every hero uses their kit from that period.
