Overwatch Rainy Day Skins

Overwatch has brought back its Rainy Day collection, adding new skins alongside refreshed recolors from previous releases. If you want to update your hero lineup with these weather-themed cosmetics, you need to know what is available and how each item fits into the current shop rotation.

You can unlock the Rainy Day skins through the in-game store and event options, depending on the specific cosmetic. Understanding the pricing and availability helps you decide which skins to prioritize before they rotate out.

Overwatch Rainy Day Skins

You can find a fresh wave of Rainy Day cosmetics in the April 21 shop rotation. This update adds five new legendary skins while also expanding the lineup with recolored variants.

New Rainy Day skins:

  • Rainy Day Anran
  • Rainy Day Roadhog
  • Rainy Day Freja
  • Rainy Day Sombra
  • Rainy Day D.Va

Roadhog’s version arrives after earlier teasers, finally making it available in the in-game store. Each skin follows the same wet-weather theme with rain gear styling and muted tones.

Alongside these releases, you can also purchase Cloudy Day variants. These act as recolors of earlier Rainy Day designs:

  • Cloudy Day Mercy
  • Cloudy Day Kiriko
  • Cloudy Day Mei

If you want everything in one purchase, you can buy the Rainy Day Mega Bundle for 6,900 Overwatch Coins. The bundle includes all new Rainy Day and Cloudy Day skins plus bonus cosmetics.

Bundle extras include:

  • Rainy Day Oinky weapon charm
  • Four Rainy Stroll emotes
  • Two name cards
  • Three player icons
  • Three sprays

You can also purchase individual hero bundles or single skins directly through the shop or Hero Gallery if you prefer a smaller selection.

How to unlock all Overwatch Rainy Day skins

You can obtain the Rainy Day and Cloudy Day cosmetics either through shop bundles, individual hero purchases, or limited-time events that ran during 2025. Availability depends on whether the skin is part of the current store rotation or tied to a past promotion.

The newest shop items rotate through the in-game store and Hero Gallery. You purchase them using Overwatch Coins.

If you want every currently featured cosmetic at once, the Mega Bundle offers the most complete option. If you prefer specific heroes, buy them directly from the Hero Gallery when they appear in rotation.

Several earlier Rainy Day skins required event participation rather than direct purchase.

  • Rainy Day Mercy – You unlocked this skin during the Perked Up event by completing 18 matches.
  • Rainy Day Kiriko – This skin appeared in the Season 15 Battle Pass and required progression through that pass.
  • Rainy Day Tracer – You earned it by gifting two Twitch subscriptions during its promotional window.
  • Rainy Day Mei – This cosmetic was distributed as a Twitch Drop after watching 12 hours of eligible streams.
  • Rainy Ducky Orisa – You unlocked it by completing 15 event challenges during the Totally Normalwatch event.

Event-based skins may return to the shop in future rotations, but you cannot currently unlock them through gameplay unless Blizzard reintroduces them.

Before purchasing, confirm you own the required hero on your account. Once you buy a cosmetic, you can use it across supported platforms tied to your Battle.net profile.

Overwatch Coins conversion

You need Overwatch Coins to unlock the new Rainy Day skins. You can buy this premium currency with real money or earn a limited amount through the seasonal Battle Pass.
