More than a year after launch, you still see steady improvements that expand the game’s systems while resolving lingering technical and progression issues.

This update introduces the Bo staff as a widely available weapon, adds PSSR 2 support for PS5 Pro to enhance image quality and performance, and enables mouse and keyboard functionality on Nintendo Switch 2. You also benefit from a range of gameplay fixes and quest adjustments, reflecting Ubisoft’s ongoing effort to respond to community feedback and strengthen the overall experience.

Assassin's Creed Shadows Update 1.1.10 Patch Notes

Bo Staffs Now Available to All Players

You no longer need the Claws of Awaji expansion to access standard Bo weapons.

After you obtain at least one Unique Bo, regular (non-legendary) versions begin to appear across the world. You can loot them from defeated enemies, discover them in chests, or purchase them from merchants like other weapon types.

This change expands weapon variety for all players and integrates the Bo into the core loot pool.

PS5 Pro Image Enhancement (PSSR 2)

Update 1.1.10 adds PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution 2 (PSSR 2) support for PlayStation 5 Pro.

You benefit from improved image clarity and more stable performance while exploring cities, countryside regions, and large combat encounters. The upgrade enhances visual sharpness without altering gameplay systems.

This feature applies exclusively to the PS5 Pro version of the game.

Keyboard and Mouse Support on Switch 2

Nintendo Switch 2 now supports keyboard and mouse controls.

You can switch to a more traditional PC-style control setup, allowing for precise aiming, tighter camera control, and refined movement. This option gives you more flexibility in how you approach stealth, traversal, and combat.

The feature works alongside standard controller input.

General Fixes and System Improvements

This update resolves stability issues, progression tracking errors, and several gameplay inconsistencies.

You should experience fewer crashes and more accurate stat tracking across the board.

Several gameplay mechanics now function as intended:

  • Fast travel points correctly unlock and remain accessible.

  • Bonus Rations from Claws of Awaji properly display in your stat sheet.
  • Unarmed damage bonuses now apply correctly.
  • Various stat modifiers no longer cap incorrectly at +100%.

These adjustments ensure that your builds scale properly and reflect actual in-game performance.

  • Yasuke’s Defensive Break Level 3 displays the proper 150% collision damage value.
  • “Critical Insight,” “Hidden Onslaught,” and “Extended Duration” upgrades now activate as designed.
  • “Defensive Breach” correctly shows its rank 3 damage bonus.
  • The Oni’s Rage Kanabo perk specifies a 25% bleed buildup spread on kill.
  • Trinket perks appear immediately in the Detailed Stat Sheet.
  • “Underworld Emissary Horns” bonus damage properly disappears inside smoke.
  • “Claws of the Tides” long katana consistently applies its posture effect.
  • Affliction conversion perks now work as intended.

These corrections ensure that your gear and upgrades produce the expected results in combat.

Text and Language Corrections
