Team Ice King Gains 24-Hour Showdown Multiplier
You have seen how close the rivalry totals remain throughout Chapter 7 Season 2. Neither side has built a lasting lead, so Epic activated a limited-time scoring bonus for Team Ice King to shift the pace.
The 24-hour boost began on Saturday, April 4 at 9 AM ET. During this window, every rivalry victory earned by Ice King supporters counts as 1.5 wins instead of one.
That change increases progress speed by 50 percent for the duration of the event.

When you win a duel as part of Team Ice King, the system multiplies your result before adding it to the global total. If you normally contribute one rivalry point, you now contribute one and a half. Over thousands or millions of matches, that difference quickly shifts leaderboard momentum.
Epic has not confirmed a matching bonus for Team Foundation during the same weekend window. However, recent event patterns suggest alternating boosts between factions.
Ice King supporters previously benefited from a themed Friday bonus, while Foundation players received their own spotlight event on Sunday. Based on that rotation, you can reasonably expect Team Foundation to receive a similar multiplier soon.
