How to Add Loot Filter

In the world of action role-playing games, Path of Exile 2 stands out as a dynamic experience where players navigate constant loot drops, akin to those found in games like Diablo 4. This feature enriches gameplay by offering a steady stream of rewards as players defeat enemies.

Yet, the sheer volume of items can sometimes lead to challenges in quickly identifying the most valuable loot. To address this issue, players can utilize loot filters, which streamline the process by highlighting desirable items. These tools enhance gaming efficiency and ensure that the focus remains on acquiring the best possible gear.

Defining Loot Filters in Path of Exile 2

A loot filter is a crucial tool in Path of Exile 2 that allows players to manage the display of loot drops. These filters enable specific customization of how various tiers of loot are presented. By altering elements such as colortext size, and adding notifications like sound alerts, players can effectively prioritize and identify valuable items more efficiently during gameplay.

Installing a Loot Filter in Path of Exile 2

To set up a loot filter for Path of Exile 2, first ensure that you have the desired filter file. It's suggested to use the NeverSink filter due to its extensive customization features. Begin by downloading it from NeverSink’s GitHub.

Here's a simple guide to complete the installation:

  1. Navigate Your Files
Go to „This PC“ and choose your main Local Disc Drive.
  2. Locate the Game Folder
Access the Documents folder, then open the „My Games“ directory and locate „Path of Exile 2“.
  3. Insert the Filter File
Copy and paste the NeverSink filter file into the Path of Exile 2 folder.

After placing the filter file, start Path of Exile 2. Go to the Options menu and choose the Game tab. You'll find the setting to enable the NeverSink item filter there.

Alternatively, players can opt for Pecham’s loot filter, which follows the same installation procedure but offers different customization tweaks.
