Looking Good Emote Origin

The latest addition to Fortnite’s extensive collection of Icon Series dances is the Looking Good Emote. This new emote incorporates elements from a viral TikTok dance, aligning with Fortnite's trend of bringing popular dance moves into the digital realm.

Inspired by American R&B singer Victoria Monèt, the choreography for this emote is crafted by Sean Bankhead. This collaboration exemplifies how contemporary music and dance continue to shape the dynamic and ever-evolving world of Fortnite.

Victoria Monèt joins Fortnite with Looking Good Emote

The Looking Good Emote in Fortnite features „Oh My Mama“ by Victoria Monèt. This track is from her successful album Jaguar II and even received a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Song. The dance moves in the emote were created by choreographer Sean Bankhead, known for his work in the music video for the song.

Fortnite included this emote on July 14, marking another collaboration between popular music and the iconic game. Both Victoria Monèt and Sean Bankhead expressed their excitement on social media, with Monèt calling the inclusion „crazy“ and Bankhead confirming his compensation for the choreography.

Players can now enjoy this new dance while engaging in Fortnite battles, adding a unique flair to their in-game victories.
